NATURAL HAIR: FLAX SEED GEL

3 TBSP. FLAX SEEDS

2 C. WATER

3 Drops. Essential Oil of your choice.

Boil water first, then add flax seeds. Once you notice a foamy gel from, turn heat down, and stir for about 2-3 min.  Let it cook until boiling again for about 10 min, until thick. Remove from heat, using a mesh strainer or cheap knee-high over a container, pour the mixture and strain until all gel is out. Add your choice of essential oils while hot…. for perseverance. Once cooled, store in a pump bottle with dispenser. IT is more easy to use and distribute.

This Flax Seed Gel last for 3 weeks in the refrigerator.

  1. This is one of the best do it yourself recipes I have read so far. I have been wondering how to make my own gel. Now the big question is does it have a hold? This is really good though. Thanks for sharing.
